How do I Get Them?
1. Click the button below to access our google document plant and seed lists. They are updated frequently so you know exactly what is still available.
2. Once you decide what you want send us your order by message or email. Contact us at iowabackyardfarmer@gmail.com with your questions and orders.
3. We will reserve those plants for you in our backyard greenhouse and send you a purchase confirmation email and a link to SignUpGenius with pickup options when it is close to pickup time in April for seed potatoes and onions and seeds, and May for everything else.
4. We keep the plants growing in our greenhouse in Ankeny until you are ready to plant them.
5. You pay with Venmo cash or check when you do curbside pickup in April or May at our home in Ankeny.
Some Backyard Farmer Tips
We have limited growing space, and lots of varieties. With so many people ordering ahead things tend to sell out fast! So take a look and send in an order soon for the best selection.
If you decide later that you just want a few more, you can always contact us and we will adjust your order.
Growing in our backyard and having a big busy family we have limited pick up days and times, but they will likely be on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Tuesdays in April and May.
